Pennsylvania Ag Connection - 06/30/2022

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's Livestock Evaluation Center invites consignments of breeding sheep and goats to be sold at an Aug. 11 auction during Penn State Ag Progress Days in Pennsylvania Furnace, Centre County.

Prior to the 6 p.m., the department will join PSU College of Agricultural Sciences, Delaware Valley University and the PA Sheep and Wool Growers Association in hosting a field day beginning at 1 p.m., where national experts will share cutting-edge methods for protecting your flock and raising the highest quality sheep and goats.

"Ag Progress Days not only puts your breeding stock in front of a large gathering of key buyers," said Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding. "The auction and field day are opportunities to improve your flock and protect your animals' health and your investment with the latest knowledge from regional and national experts."
